Rahul Gandhi is supported by 19 political parties, according to a statement the Congress released on Friday. The notice from the Centre asking him to vacate his bungalow in Delhi’s Lutyens zone is therefore unnecessary for him to be concerned about.
According to the Congress, it will bring up Gandhi’s unfair treatment by the government in Parliament.
The Gandhi family is a target of the BJP government’s malice. Rahul Gandhi is not concerned about the bungalow issue because he has support from 19 other political parties, according to Pawan Khera, who represents Congress at press conferences.
Khera criticised the Center’s notice as being unkind and disrespectful. The Congress party, she claimed, will be against it.

Gandhi received the bungalow at 12 Tughlaq Lane after being chosen as a parliamentarian in 2004.
Only the Prime Minister and their immediate family will have SPG protection, according to a law that the Central Government approved last year.
The Central Government upgraded Gandhi’s protection to Z-plus level in 2019 after his SPG cover expired.
Gandhi is a member of parliament and has a legal claim to the bungalow, so the Congress party wrote to the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs to request permission for him to occupy it.
Gandhi was given a month to vacate the bungalow by the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs on Tuesday. He no longer had SPG protection, they claimed, therefore he couldn’t stay there.
The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)-led administration has been charged by the opposition Congress party with carrying out a political vendetta through this measure.
Gandhi has expressed his disapproval of the way the administration has handled a number of issues, including the economy and the Covid-19 outbreak.
Additionally, he has led the opposition’s criticism of the administration regarding the ongoing protest that farmers are mounting against the new farm legislation.
The Congress party, which has been advocating for the repeal of the relevant laws, has supported the farmers’ protest.
Gandhi oversaw a tractor rally earlier this year in Punjab in support of the farmers’ strike.
The Congress has been under fire from the BJP for allegedly sponsoring anti-national organisations and politicising the farmers’ protest.
There is a debate that has turned Gandhi’s home into a political issue. The BJP party disagrees and says there is no proof to back up the assertion that the government is seeking to quiet them, contrary to the claim made by the Congress party.
