When I started my online career,I stated with .CO.NR subdomain name and 50webs Free web hosting and Blogger.Now after becoming successful I host all my sites on Paid hosting because of some limitations in Free hosting services.I don’t say that all Free web hosting companies are waste because I had very good experience with 50 webs because I never experienced downtime.Below are list of few disadvantages of free web hosting.

Disadvantages of free web hosting :

* First If you want to do serious business the go for paid hosting because free hosting companies may delete your account at any time

* Due to over crowd the servers are too slow and page take many seconds to load.

* Free hosting companies run their business by placing lots of advertisements on users websites and intelligent companies like 50webs don’t place ads but ultimately get free hosting user upgrade to paid hosting when he cross limit.

* Many features are disabled like email accounts and mysql,quick install,phpmyadmin.

* The servers may go down often and no uptime  guarantee.

* No Backup facility.

* No live support and email support may take up to 24-48 hours to reply.

* The FTP is too slow and disconnects frequently.

* The free web hosting service may be closed anytime without notice.

* Free hosting staff many not help you when there is some error in your site script but my paid host solved many problem which I had in my website script.

* They restrict some file types like .mp3 , .mpg , . flv ,.zip etc.

* Some files upload limit like in 50webs 300kb file limit.

*They may use your domains for email spamming.

* If you add some files or software for your visitors then your visitor may experience slow download.

* Many Peoples uses free web hosting and spam others thus Search engines ban your website if your site is hosted on blacklisted IP.

*Free web hosting companies suffer from malicious attacks which may hack your website.
